We held our Fall Membership Meeting—the first one in our new office—on November 7. Everyone had a nice time, but what stands out most is how many times someone said, “You should do this more often!”

An excellent suggestion. We need to have more opportunities for our members to just spend time with one another. Nothing serious, no agenda, and nothing to vote on, just a chance to be with other part-timers.

It is so important for us to realize we are part of a larger unit. Far too often we labor in obscurity and isolation. One of the most valuable services our Association can provide is giving our members this chance to get to know one another. We will be hosting more such events, so please watch your email and your on-campus mailboxes for announcements.
